Interesting practice
Today at Mus'Art practice was the first time I saw Mr Shuichi. He's a Japanese conductor invited to conduct a few pieces for Rhythme Et Blues.
I like the way he conducts! Very precise movements and a lot of efforts on his wrists. You easily know what he wants just by watching him.
A very interesting man, I think, because he's Japanese, but speaks English with an American accent. We can easily understand his speech.
He's very..uh..sensitive is the word. Like we played badly and he'll be like....'Good! But not enough for "great!"' So we all know he can't find a better word to describe how we played in a nice way. =)
