TCC & family gathering

Had tea at TCC with Daniel, X'opher, Hui Shan, Yoke Khee, Rong Chen and Nick at TCC, Citylink.

I liked the tiramisu and mint chocolate frappe that I ordered. Though the rum wasn't strong in the ti-rum-isu and the mint wasn't strong in the frappe. But I was satisfied already. Paid $17 for both and coincidentally I had that amount in cash. And I was broke already. =(

Anyway, after chatting we went to Marina Square to walk and I ended up getting two pairs of shoes. To put it explicitly, a pair of slippers and a pair of pumps. Both to use for/after CNY. I can't possibly use the slippers for CNY.

Yeay. So I'm left with a pair of bottoms. A small bag caught my eye so I'm gonna get it at Bugis St when I find the time and chance to go there.

After that I went to my cousin's place and there was potluck =) Ohh, I tried the Nintendo Wii!! Damn fun and interactive, and a darn good family orientated game. Too bad it's too distracting (and expensive) else I'll persuade my brother to get it. =P

I played tennis and this rabbit game called Rabbid. I suck at the former but I'm not bad at the latter! Haha. So fun. Like it but don't want it.

One of my cousins asked me if I know this Yao Xiao Ti. The first thought that came to me was, this name is awfully familiar. Then ahhh it's Nick. Ya ya I know. Why? Then I learnt that my cousin and Nick's eldest sister are good friends. My cousin was wondering if I knew Nick because we went to Italy at the same time and were from NUS. Well well, the world (Singapore) is small.

I like this kind of gatherings. Especially when there's a Nintendo Wii. =P

Across the Universe

Brilliant movie! I love that show.

Strawberry Fields Forever!

Hmm. This movie is about a love story between a British boy and an American girl.

Their soundtracks are all Beatles' songs, and the powerful thing is that the lyrics can fit into the situation and as dialogue too. So you gotta listen to the lyrics intently at the same time, so that you'll know what's going on.

So nice. It is much unlike Jay Chou's Secret where the leads spew mushy nothings to each other.

This movie is much smarter (oops) and is more serious actually. The characters in the show go through all kinds of hurt and happiness and you learn about their stories through music. The story took place during the revolution (I have little idea when it exactly is but I think it's about the 80's?).

However the show is a bit too long for such a story. About two hours?

I don't know how to describe to you, I'm not good at words at how good this movie is.

Just go watch the movie!

I think this movie isn't really well publicised, because when I went to watch the last two rows were empty except for my friend and I and there were groups of people in the middle few rows and that's it. I went there on a Sunday. Today. And there were so little people for a fabulous movie? No no.

NC-16, only at Cathay cinemas. Go watch!

NUSWS Camp

Camp was quite fun overall, our self-entertainment was more entertaining. Haha.

Compared to last year's camp, there were less planned games but amount of practices were about the same.

Knew more band mates.

Filled with laughter.

After band camp we went to Clementi for brunch. I ordered thosai which I usually can handle as the first meal of the day. However the gravy that came with the thosai was weird. Prata curry, some chilli paste, and some dry spicy powder. The chilli paste was freaking spicy. Too spicy for my stomach to take it. I suspect that resulted in my stomachache + diarrhoea which happened shortly before I reached home. Then I didn't go for Ju Ling's party in the end.

I checked my results during the camp. It was horrifying. I didn't think I'd do this badly, I thought I'll probably maintain my results or do a bit not as well.

But this time it was far from a bit.

I was a bit dazed, the kind where you blank out and don't know what to do next. Or what you should do with your life. That was before combined pract that night, I just wanted to keep those thoughts off myself. Went back to my room at RH and stared into space for a while and all of a sudden my roommate came in. So that brought me back to life.

Went back to CFA and had practice as usual, and carried on with life.

I don't like it when because of my disappointments and problems, I show a dull face to the entire world and spoil their fun, especially when I'm out with friends and it was during a camp. In fact I don't really show and talk about my disappointments at home. I don't talk about things to everyone and everyone because not everyone and everyone will listen. And not everyone will be there. So what's the point of talking. I am finding it harder to talk about my problems to others, even my closer friends. I don't know why.

Thank you for your SMS, it was really sweet. I wasn't expecting anything like that, and your SMS really made me feel much better and more confident with myself. It made me want to ignore how the whole world looks at me. I don't really care if I'm looked down upon already. My pride is fighting it.

If the world turns its back on you, you turn your back to the whole world!

I wish I ain't this egoistic so that I can just admit my failures. And make the day where success will meet me.

I just wasn't expecting myself to be too bothered about my results. But things took a turn for the very worst and I can't ignore. =(

Next semester will be better. I should be more prepared to start the semester.

BBQ

Felix moved a few months back and I was thinking maybe his house would be nicer.

In the end....

I think they're about the same. Right, Felix?

=D Just that the old house had less weeds to clear.

=P

No offence.

Anyway. BBQ, exchanged presents, went back.

Nothing else? No no.

I bought Jie Ying a chopping board. Because I thought that she'll use it well and was pretty excited about giving her the present.

In the end she got me a Nike water bottle!! T_T She knew I wanted one because we saw them while walking around Whitesands with Kai Yan the other day.

And then I felt very bad about giving her only a chopping board that costs probably a third of what she spent on that Nike bottle. I didn't think I need to spend too much also, the nature of gifts exchange got into me. Like I only need to spend <$5 for the NUSWS gift exchange. So it's pretty weird actually =P Never mind, Jie Ying knows I'll compensate with my love. -_- =P

Christmas Eve

Went out with Siew Hoon, Joan and Shun today.

It was just a simple and easy task, where we walked around Orchard.

Firstly we went to Far East. Walk walk walk, we tried this sausage + mashed potato snack from Chippy's and it's nice! Though the sausage was ultra salty. It costs $3.50.

After that we strolled to the Heeren, where Joan left us after a while and Shun and SH and I went to eat at nydc.

And after that we went home.

Heh.

Nihon Mura

Nihon Mura or better known as 日本村 is a Japanese restaurant that attracts you with their 99 cents (or effectively SGD 1.17after the taxes) sushi.

However you don't always go there just for the sushi. You try their main courses, like ramen, bento, don, etc.

Which are overpriced. And so they are overrated. At first I thought the food there will be affordable and nice but even if they're affordable to some of you, they're not nice to me at all. There isn't anything special and their chawanmushi costs SGD 3. But you get it at half-priced, same size, common ingredients, at Sakae Sushi/Hei Sushi.

But of course, no matter where I go, I'll still eat a lot of salmon sashimi. It costs about $5 plus a plate, which I think is cheaper than that of Hei Sushi's. I don't taste any difference though.

Still, don't ever eat there!

Pavement drawing

Take a look at the following. They are drawn using chalks.

Did I just say draw? That above is a flat-on-the-ground picture of a cola bottle. It looks like it's 3D right? Now you can look at the rest in a different point of view.

The water and hose are drawn.

Want to step into the pool with a babe?

Check out how long her leg is. This is actually how it looks like from the other side of the pool.

He was standing on the top of the world!

Above is how it looks like from the side.

Great, isn't it.

Reminiscing some old memories

Last night I sat down for dinner with my parents and we turned on the TV as usual, so we can catch the 6.30 p.m. news and have dinner at the same time. Some habit that we all have.

It was reported that this 11-year-old boy ran away from home after a tiff with his mum. He lost the key to his savings box or something. As of last night he was still missing.

My mum then told me about what I did when I was about 3 or 4 years old.

There was this once when my dad was scolding and yelling at me because I misbehaved, and my dad shouted '滚蛋!!! (Scram)' at me and he opened the gate.

Then I took my favourite bag, some cute rabbit-body bag and stuffed my chao-chao (some pillow that you always and only use when you were small), milk bottle (without milk powder), pacifier and some shorts into the rabbit bag and went out of the house.

HAHA. I was just so small at that time I couldn't believe I actually did that. And milk bottle with no milk powder??

My dad was like 'Oh she's really gone' and chased after me and carried me back. He told my mum after that that he cannot say such things anymore, because I really will do it. Whahahahahahahaha. I was so innocent la. Was. Haha, I wonder what would happen if I really walk off and go missing. I was only at the lift lobby when my dad grabbed me home.

It's so scary bringing up kids, really.

48 years old

Mum is 48! Happy birthday!

~~~~~
Went to MJCSB late but still early to catch the last few pieces they were rehearsing.
Then stayed for X'mas lunch. That's when Ms Sia called me 八婆 =( she used to call me 美女 hahaha.
~~~~~

Met Nick at night for Paulaner. The others couldn't make it and we didn't want to change locations so there was just Nick and I. Drank, chatted, watched the live band, went back. At least we still managed to catch the train and I managed to catch my last bus. Phew. So I didn't go home at any extra charge.

Paulaner or Hofbrauhaus? Of course the latter! Hahaha. I prefer the fragrance of the beer at Hofbrauhaus. Awww. Made me miss Europe all over again.

That's about how I spent today.

Gathered after so long

Met my Hai Sing 2E3 classmates this evening.

Went to Hei Sushi (was Sakae Sushi but I dunno why they changed their name) at Whitesands but I think they served decent food.

The girls who came. Mai brought her youngest sister

Shun

Maizurah, Maisarah, me, Shun Wei, Jing Yi

After dinner at Hei Sushi we went to the arcade at the top floor but I was sian-ed and so walked around with Mai and sis, Shun, and JY who joined us a bit later.

We ended up at Coffee Club. Sat in comfy and that was when Kegan called me. We're at Coffee Club! Ooops. 'Cos I was thinking they may take long but anyway, we all just chilled. Though I think some of them didn't want to stay there but since they had no plans on where to go so we all stayed there.

I ordered this drink called Blackforest so it was like drinking the cake. I actually wanted it for the alcohol but alas it was too dull.

Group photo. Many others didn't/couldn't turn up

Part of the 7 of us who have tolerated me till today

After which we went home like how we did in secondary school, and this really made me think back on how some of us used to go home together after school on bus 12.

We're searching for classmate(s) we lost contact with:
Aizuddin FOUND!
Yip Yung Ping

So Yung Ping, if you're looking at this, please leave me a message to contact you! Or you can contact the guys and slowly link to Kegan!

Shopping Spree

As much as I hated to go out of the house on public holidays due to the herds of people, I still went out today.

I spent more than I should've.

Parked myself at Topshop for nearly an hour. I had this $50 gift card from my girls as a birthday present and I have to use it because the expiry date is today. I spent about $30 on two tank tops earlier on already, so I have about $20 more to spend. Joan gave me this voucher - 20% off products from the Wing Tai brands so the more I have to go, else I doubt I'll have many chances to do shopping.

I saw a green checkered blouse that I liked but couldn't find it at the Topshop at VivoCity. Saw this red-and-blue checkered blouse and a green striped blouse, bought both after much trying and choosing. Both amounted to $117.40, the 20% only applied to the higher priced one. Actually saw this purse but didn't buy anyway. Was a bit dazed that I spent so much.

Since I spent >$100 I was eligible for this sure win draw, it's just a matter of what you won. I got this $30 Christmas Shopping gift card that will expire on 15 Jan (more shopping).

That gift card reminded me of my own gift card. Which I didn't use at the transaction earlier on -_- so I had to top it up by a min of $20 to extend the expiry by another six months. Blur me.

Took a bus from Vivo to Bugis. The crowd there was intimidating but I went ahead anyway. Crossed the road to Bugis Street and I was stuck in the middle of that junction and missed two green man lights. That was how long I took to move to the other side of the road.

Bought a brown bag. But I think it looks a bit aunty-ish now. I attempted to give the bag to my mum by saying 'you can use it if you want!' but she hasn't touched that bag. =S I spent $32 on it.

Went home, showed off my blouses (which were meant for CNY) and bag.

My brother said that if I wore the red and blue checkered blouse with black pants I'd look like I was from countryside China.

Thanks.

Third movie in a week

My sister jio-ed me out for a movie this afternoon, she wanted to watch Alvin And The Chipmunks which I wasn't really interested in but since I was in for a treat I went. Brother tagged along too.

Some of the songs that the chipmunks sang are real cute, their renditions of those songs just melts you. The movie lasted 90 minutes, which is quite alright, but the ending was a bit anti-climax though. I was expecting something more. Not worth watching unless you go for the songs.

Oh, Alvin, Simon and Theodore are cute too. Really.

I wonder why they like to use chipmunks as the cute animal in most animated movies.

Like Chip and Dale - I know one of their noses is red but I don't know who's the red-nosed one. Felix does I'm sure. And Pip in Enchanted. And this time, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Though actually these three characters appeared in this Chipmunk Adventure long ago.

I like Theodore best.

Some nice video

There's this Pixar Short Film Collection out in stores. I hope it'll be available for rent, though it costs only $18.95 per DVD at HMV. I attempted to find some clips online and I found this.

Very funny!!!

Oh and you should look at this Christmas video as well. Some of you may have seen it already. It takes a while to load, but it's really worth a peep.

The Inaugural Hai Sing Alumni Dinner

Went for the first Hai Sing High/Catholic Alumni Dinner on the 15th.

I don't know if I was to laugh or cry.

But before I start, I must say that I like the dinner overall. The complains I have are mainly common stuff that Hai Sians have been complaining throughout their secondary school life, i.e. the stingy character of Hai Sing. Otherwise, the dinner have been great.

I met Joan outside the main gate that night to enter the school together. We were led...no we weren't led, the Sportsleader guarding the gate told us to walk to the left, which somehow indicates that we have to get to the foyer where Registration was located.

At Registration there was a row of students who volunteered (maybe) for this event. The first station was to report your attendance, then the next station you can pay $2 to get a raffle ticket for the lucky draw. I got one. Ace of spades. Then the next station you received your door gift which was a cute little notebook and a pen. With that, you were escorted up to the hall.

Upon entering the hall, we were overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by the small number of tables haaha. I didn't count, but there were probably about ten or so. So much for 50 years of history. And I was rather skeptical with respect to the 'table cloth'. Haha.

Nice table 'plastic'! Haha

There were candy canes for everyone

I saw some band people so we plopped down with Hwee Lee, Daniel, Yu Lan, Burt and Melva. Sometimes Xin Hui, Jie Ying and Kai Ling who are in the committee sat down with us too.

Oh, the lucky draw prizes are useful other than the top two prizes. In my case, I mean. There were 20+ prizes to be won. So there were things like shopping vouchers and movie passes. I was hoping and hoping and hoping to get the prizes other than the top two and guess what??

I got second prize! Faint.

When I soooo wanted the smaller prizes. Hahhaa. Second prize was a Casio Vintage watch. But it turned out to be a guy's watch =( and I gave it to my brother. I don't totally like the design also, so never mind =P This is why I prefer the smaller prizes! I get to choose what I wanna get, haha. Moreover if I am gonna use that watch, that'll be the 4th watch that's waiting for me to use it! I have three watches that I either don't wear or have not worn. They are gifts. But I still love my Fossil watch.

Oh the current principal sponsored the top prize, some 'suspension bag' meant for laptops so that if you ever drop your laptop in the bag, your laptop will still be in one piece. I don't need that.

Most of us at our table had complains about the food hahaha. 'Cos we paid $25 you see, and it is certainly overpriced for a plate of buffet food. Oh well never mind, there were expensive coolers that they rented. You see, Hai Sing's hall is not air-conditioned. Haha.

So after the dinner we went to the Coffee Club at Whitesands for some dessert hahaa. And we only spent $6 per person for some very worthwhile desserts!

This muddy mudpie is nice. Very big, too much for one person

Tiramisu! I'll like it better if there was more alcohol

Fresh fruit fondue where the strawberries and kiwis and mangoes were sour

In all I felt that the dinner was good for a start. I'll go again next year if I can.

Well done committee. =P

The Golden Compass

All the hype over the movie is exaggerating.

I didn't really enjoy the movie. I won't say it's a must watch though. The story is nice and engaging but somehow I'm just not attracted.

New skin

No you didn't stumble into the wrong blog, you're at the correct address.

Jiat Ba Liao

Say hi to Ethan who's now going two months old.

Day by day he's getting irritatingly adorable. But well, babies. I think I'm gonna be mean to him as he grows up. Oh no.

Saturday, December 15, 2007

Ah, another looooooooooooooooooooooong post

Here I go again. I think I prefer blogging once in a while and spend hours on this. Raaawn.

/04122007 Tuesday/
Last paper! Had dinner at Crystal Jade Holland V with Annie, Nathalie, Ching Wen, Samuel and Yu Ming. I had HK minced pork noodle. I like!

Bill: This is the first time that I realised how time consuming splitting the bill can be. Well of course it depends on the method you use as well. However, I won't use this method that I saw today. Formulating equations with graphic calculator. I am still amazed!

拉面啊拉面

小笼包啊小笼包

/05122007 Wednesday Part 1/
Went to the zoo with Joan. Late last night I was wondering how great the weather has been. So I prayed that the weather would be as nice this time. Oh well. A series of rainy days started right on this day itself.

The scene that greeted me at the bus stop

Nevertheless, we trotted to the zoo amidst the wind and rain. We had our fair share of fun! And photos were still taken in the rain.

Reporting from AMK bus terminal

Zoo - 动物园 - Taman Haiwan

On 138 to the zoo. It was quite a long ride!

When we reached the zoo, the rain was too heavy so Joan and I sat around at KFC and had our lunch.

This is some sheep-goat breed called goral. Nibbling

Otters! Damn cute, the way they lie beside each other

The flooding at the zoo was a bit worrying, so I decided to go back out to Cheers situated at the entrance and bought some $3.90 slippers since I was wearing my Kappa lion canvas shoes. Wanted to wear slippers when I left the house, but I predicted (dumbass haha) that Mandai would be sunny. So happily I wore shoes...

Continued visiting.

What's that atop the tree trunk?

Oh. It's some depressed primate loner. It was basking itself not in the sun but in the rain.

Non-flaming flamingoes

Penguin

Fluffed

It was raining too heavily again, so Joan and I seeked shelter nearby.

Look at the rain drops

Look at the centre, we have another loner

No wonder we primate humans get depressed. It runs through the entire evolution process.

Kangaroos at the Australian Outback

They have this braille thing that even the blind can visit the zoo!

K-A-N-G-A-R-O-O. No la, actually I can't read braille

White tigers

Malayan Tapir

Mummy tapir fuzzing around with baby tapir

Upper Seletar Reservoir

Zebra crossing

Jaguar

I've reached the lions' den!

The lion looks sad. I'd be sad too, if I spend my life enclosed

Giraffes tucked away in a corner

Most animals are either hiding in their tents or lazing away in the rain. So spirit-dampening.

Look at the level of flooding. I was practically washing my feet with every step.

Lion cap!

I was telling Joan about this uni senior who works part-time at the zoo. I don't have June's number, so I just didn't bother looking out for her.

And ta-daa she found me.

She's now a full-timer there, as an Education Executive.

After which I went to NTUC at AMK Hub with Joan to shop for our picnic stuff that would have happened the next day. (but look at the weather)

/05122007 Wednesday Part 2/
Samuel the Frenchman left for France for some academic-related programme. So a bunch of us went to send him off.

The bunch of us who went to send Samuel off

Interesting and exciting rumours throughout the night.

/06122007 Thursday/
Thanks to the weather that we girls couldn't go on with our picnic. So we camped at Hui Ying's place instead, bringing all our food there. I woke up a bit late, reached later than I should have =(

It was just like a repeated scene of the day before.

Jing Yi and Shun Wei reached even later, haha. HY made yummy pastries (I also want an oven at home!), Shi Hui and Joan made lovely cupcakes, YX bought juices and green tea, JY bought Campbell's soup, SW made nice tuna and ham sandwiches, I made a salad out of wine and fruits.

HY's pastry

The pretty cupcakes!

I didn't bother to take any picture of my salad 'cos I was rather disappointed in both looks and taste of the dessert haha. There was only a tint of wine and due to the season I could only get fruits like honeydew, white grapes and strawberries. The colours were plain. Strawberries weren't sweet enough. And the white grapes had thick skin and seeds! Seeds! Can you believe it? I actually bought seeded grapes when you should use seedless ones for salads! Oh I couldn't get mint leaves too, so I made do without that. This is the actual recipe.

/07122007 Friday/
Went to CFA in the late afternoon 'cos of billing complications.

After that I trotted down to Esplanade for PhilWinds' concert, there was a Korean guest pianist and I think the entire concert was very heavy and dry. Russian compositions, mostly transcribed from orchestral arrangements so you know the difference. $13 not very well spent.

/08122007 Saturday/
Saw the email about Procter & Gamble offering internships so I decided to give it a try and the application process was so long. I'm not sure if the position I applied for is related to my major, but whatever. I'm still gonna try and see what I can do with those market analysis stuff. Bless me.

Left home late 'cos I was rushing the applications and saw Annie off at the airport (she left for UNSW's summer programme) 5 minutes before she left. Thank goodness I reached there somewhat in time =S

/10122007 Monday to 11122007 Tuesday/
Sweat Camp kicked off. Met Ivan on bus 27 and we went to the airport to meet Daniel Liu for bus 36 to East Coast Park. Probably the bus 27's driver isn't too proficient that I suppose he hit the kerb while driving out of T3 (I think) and the bus shook. I knocked onto Ivan who's much skinnier than I am. But he didn't fall onto the ground, his bag did. But it was a bit scary for that moment.

I have not many photos of Sweat. This is one camp where there wasn't a need to exchange contacts and to have cheers. So I have no contacts of our group's facilitator haha =P.

There was one very interesting person that I met during the camp. Sometimes when you talk to the person you don't know if you should laugh or cry. That's all I'm going to talk about this person. I shall tell you more about it if I remember =P

It should be called Wet Camp instead, considering the amount of rainfall while we were trying to get our sports done.

The gloom we faced at Kallang Basin

Ivan said this is a rain fog whose occurrence is normal, as what he learnt in his choc-ker-fee lessons

A scene at ECP. Check out the plane on the left

So in all I dragonboat-ed, soccer-ed, windsurfed and bladed. I rowed worse than I remembered, I kicked as poorly as usual, I suck at windsurfing (there is something with my balancing that I can't explain), and I am so gonna brush up on blading. Blading is not difficult! I think it is easier to pick up compared to cycling but I probably will be slow at mastering it.

Come blade with me!

I was supposed to go onto Day 3 of the camp where we leave for Sisters' Island in the evening of Day 2, but I left because
  • I read too much True Singapore Ghost Stories to know about Sisters' Island, and I am freaky about these supernatural stuff
  • My mum knows about these supernatural stuff so she didn't allow me to go
  • I had BTT on Wednesday which is my 2nd attempt and I'm so gonna pass (and I did! More info later)
  • I had an interview on Wednesday too
So there were reasons why I shouldn't go on. And I left! There was this Secret Pal thing, my nickname is sushi. Cheesy. (No, sushi is not cheesy. I love sushi!) So I was paired up with this guy who's less chatty than me and I talked non-stop in order to keep awake. He talked quite an amount of course, and I did more. Whatever. So I told him I wasn't going to Sisters' Island so we may never learn who each other are. Blah blah blah, when I left my group at ECP some guy came up to me, 'Excuse me, are you my SP?' Haha and I said yes, because I managed to find out who he was and he managed to find out who I was too. Nice. I stupidly left without initiating an introduction so I never learnt his name until I asked Khee Nguen some time later.

Now I can tell Kendrick that he's my ex. Fair. (oh childish)

I doubt I'll stay in contact with Chee Fei though.

/12122007 Wednesday/
Three months ago I booked my BTT on this date. Preparation was much more intensive than my first attempt, and I made sure I memorised stuff well. Took the test and I dreaded pressing the 'End Test' icon, I was so afraid. Pressed that icon, the system loaded for a while and 'Passed' appeared. PHEW. That huge sigh of relief. Was rushing for an interview so didn't collect my Probational Driving license.

Interview was for this tuition centre that I may be going to teach at, gonna teach P5 math. I think I won't like working there. The fact that it's a tuition centre explains the need for vast improvement to attract business.

But a damn good plus point is it's three blocks away from my place.

I am also unassured that I am gonna teach P5 Chinese, 'cos the student's mum wants me to make her daughter be interested in Chinese. I don't know how I'm going to. Bring laptop and play some music? 苏打绿? Share Chinese books with her? 几米?Talk to her about the great 5000 years of Chinese history? I don't know much! I don't really know how I'll start with her. I don't know why, but these two students that I've picked up are giving me more pressure than I thought. Now I wonder if I can cope =(

/13122007 Thursday/
Chatted with WJ the night before and we started talking about movies and I asked him out for Enchanted, one of the movies that I wanted to catch this holiday. I had qualms with whether he'll be interested in the movie, but still went ahead with plans. Met him in the late morning and since I live in Tampines I went to Tampines Mall earlier to get tickets.

Had some time before he'd arrive so I shopped around and got a red cardigan at the Mango sale! Yeay, I finally got a red cardigan. This should be the last piece of warm clothing that I'll get for the time being, unless I see something really nice. I have too many jackets and sweaters already.

Enchanted was nice and sweet, haha. Sooo Disney. Watching it only made me reminisce my little-girl days, I loved it when they showed the Disney cartoon movies on free-to-air Channel 5. And the human part of the movie was hilarious. Ah, I didn't know that the prince was James Marsden, the same guy who acted as Corny Collins in Hairspray. Marsden is starring in an upcoming movie, 27 Dresses, which I wanna watch too.

Back to Enchanted. Come to think of it, I don't know if 'Enchanted' is a suitable title actually. Oh maybe it is. Hmm.

Oh! The songs are really nice!! I've been streaming the OST from imeem.com =P and I love the songs. Some are damn cute. There's this song that I really like, my current addiction (Sodagreen is on hold for the time being =P) by Jon McLaughlin. It's called So Close. Play it on the right side bar of this page.

I don't want to pour too much about the movie, but you should watch it. No matter how man you are.

My initial plans were to collect my PDL right after the movie then head straight for CFA to do some property stuff. However after talking to WJ about this whole driving thing I decided to halt for the moment. Will book my advance theory first then collect PDL.

Since WJ was going to meet his pals at Bugis towards the late afternoon we walked around the National Library first. It was nice to catch up with him once in a while actually.

Then I headed to CFA and band pract and that marks the end of a day.

Was a last-minute decision to go Wild Wild Wet with Joan, Shi Hui and Jing Yi since the weather was good and we met in the afternoon. I was late, which wasn't surprising. This entire late habit of mine is freaking me out.

Anyway.

Had real great fun at Wild Wild Wet, the last time I went there was probably in December of J1, so that's about three years ago. Still kept my Funkey =D

No photos were taken 'cos we didn't own any waterproof cameras. Oh we did take photos on one of the rides but you have to pay to own those photos.

We spent about 4 hours plus in all, taking the raft a.k.a. Ular-lah! probably four times, lazing in the Tsunami pool for some time, twice on the U-Valley where I screamed and laughed on both times, and running around here and there on those slides and rides. Heh. It's good to go there often. Oh, we signed up this nebo membership of NTUC so we got a complimentary ticket as part of the promotion.

I'm so gonna go there again. But not so soon I guess.

I was obviously darker for that day, my skin turned a reddish chocolate brown -_- and the mark of my swimsuit on my skin is still very clear. The shade of my skin is not as nice after a day, but the dark is still there, the healthy shade wasn't. Sigh. I rather I not be this dark.

End of this post.
