Last day of work

Ah...time flies. It's my last day le. Heh heh heh. So since the show will end at 4 pm, I decided to have any breaks and forgo the touring lo..quite sad and regretted a bit because Hall 1 and 2 got more foreign food I think. Korean and Egyptian. The latter I never taste before ma.

There were a lot of leftovers, hence neighbours kept pushing food here and there...they give us food we gave them also..haha...I was damm full for the whole day. I tried two gelato ice-cream today, one was the white chocolate with coconut and almond, the other is mint. Both from two different Italian booths. And since it was the last day, I was awarded with a mountain of their ice-cream. It's really a mountain on top of the cup lo. And very nice T_T So touched by the taste and texture. Haha. Though what I had were leftovers la.

Argh awful eyebags
You can look fatter from another angle, especially when you're fat
This is what I wore for the last day
Cakes from Bakerzin! No one ate this because we were too full, so we gave them to the security guards and cleaners
Very pretty
Tuna sandwich from Bakerzin for me!
More of the Pernicotti chocolates. I brought these four home. Heh
Salmon and prawn
Knives. There were actually rows of them, but they sold them on the last day
That's the whole team of us. The girls in front are the assistants, we're all locals. On the left and right in polo shirts are the Filippino engineers. The three men behind are all Hollanders, they are the managers

The managers treated us to dinner. Told us to meet at 9 pm at Indochine at Clarke Quay. It was quite late and my dad wasn't too happy about it. It was nearly five when I was dismissed and I had nothing to do, so decided to go to MJ for band pract. When I alighted at Pasir Ris and I SMSed Ju Ling to ask if she's there, she replied saying there's no band practice! And no one bothered to at least tell me! So I wondered around Whitesands for a while and decided to go home. On my way to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange this guy from Prudential approached me and after that we sat down and discussed for nearly two hours. It was about Prudential's life savings plan, it works something like a bank account. I put $71.39 every month for 25 years at 3% interest p.a., compared to the 0.25% in banks. So I signed up for the plan and things aren't confirmed yet, I gotta consult my parents too. They weren't too happy about this, especially my dad. But my mum told me to go ahead. The thing that I like about this plan is that I am able to withdraw money any time I want, but it is quite troublesome because I have to call my advisor and he will send me the cheque. So it works like this la. No ATM card or anything. I guess I'm going ahead with the plan, and hope in the next 25 years I can fork out $71.39 a month. If I cannot right, I can actually pause for a year or so and they will extract the monthly amount from what I have in the plan. So it's more or less ok.

I was bloody late for the dinner la. So went home and showered and touched-up, changed a top and went out again. Took a cab to Sengkang and took the train from there.

The dinner was very nice! First time I tried this sort of food. Tried venison, and it was ok. Overall the food there was good. I'm not the clubbing and a bit wild type, so I was quite stiff with them. Actually I can see I'm not their favourite, cos I guess I'm the worse looking and the most guai lo. Haha.

This colleague on the left is very pretty! Like you see her in person is very pretty and a lot of guys can come to the booth to talk to her one lo. Guess her age. She's 32 this year and she already has got 2 kids, 11 and 6. Her figure is still good and slim and her face smooth. She works part-time in the beauty industry la, so maybe that's why.

The other girl is 24 and just finished university.

And the men from Koma actually asked if all three of us girls are of the same age. T_T I look so old...

That's Gracie, me and Kerry. Do we look like the same age to you?
This is Leandro, a very bubbly guy
Carlo, Patrick, me, Kerry and Leandro

After leaving Indochine we went 1 Nite Stand. The latter suits me better, with a live band and free for ladies. Heh heh. Indochine has got too much bass and blaring music and the whole mood was a bit sleazy and I didn't like it. Things were brighter at 1NS. If I were to go Clarke Quay I guess I'll still go there rather than Indochine. I'm not a born clubber lo serious. Shake also cannot make it. Whahaha. Wasn't comfortable with the group also.

We went back at 1 am plus, after which I went to Sam's place to meet him finally after a few weeks. And by the time I reached home it was like, 0330hrs le. Dad was furious. =P

Work was rather an eye-opener for me...love the new things I learnt about another industry altogether. And the show is amazing.

FHA will come back from 22 to 25 April 2008. Hope I'll get a job there again! Heh. And hope that I have the time la of course. I wanna see more things!

Signed May 2, 2006. Tuesday. 1440 hrs.
