we're going off to seal rocks!

see this lump of rocks? blow up the picture and you can see tiny black protusions - those are seals

i find this small pond very nice

we're at the penguin parade!

let me explain more about this penguin parade thing. i dunno what species of penguins that we're going to see, all i know is that at nightfall these penguins come up to shore from the sea to their burrows on land. this is a natural phenomenon, no man tricks involved. you can get to see the penguins up close. not allowed to take pictures there, i think the flash may scare the penguins. the officials will even turn off the lamps so it will be really dark, but bright enough for you to see the penguins coming up to shore. oh and we sit on risers on the shore facing the sea.

this is how things were like

the penguins were really adorable! you can see them coming up from the sea and they line up in a single file. if they think anything is amiss they will go back to sea one...very cute..but there were inconsiderate people who scare the penguins by making weird noises, like howling and barking all that. however its a nice and natural sight, you guys should go see it one day.

the penguins come up like that

dont think its too wasted that you dont get to take photos, but there are exhibitions that you can take photos. got real penguins, and fake models too.

falling asleep

after the whole thing, it was like going 10pm liao. and i was soooo tired! after taking the long coach ride back to the hotel, its like past midnight liao. zzz. going home tomorrow.
