Saddam executed

Saddam Hussein, the previous tyrant dictator of Iraq, was hung on Saturday at dawn.

So that's the end of Saddam.

It's either I haven't been noticing what has been happening to him, or it's that his death is oh-so-fast it's quite hard to believe.

But well, seems like he's gone and buried beside his sons and grandson.

Dinner with my Cartel friends

Met up with Yan Ping, Shu Hui, Ying Jian, Wee Liat and Zhong Ting for dinner at the Glasshouse today.

After which we walked around trying to look for a place to chill. Walked to Clarke Quay for god knows how many times, Boat Quay, ... ... and after a few hours of walking we settled at the Labyrinth. It's in the IOI Building in Middle Street.

I was quite uncomfortable because I was still sick from the camp, so hoped to go home quick and luckily Sam came to pick me up and sent me home. I only had $10 to pay for the drinks, and I owe WL $10. -_-

At the Glasshouse we ordered the main courses and the three girls decided to share a drink. We saw the big mugs customers at other tables were having and decided that we order one too. I think they're called the Big Freeze or something, I'm not too sure. We ordered the Mermaid one and YJ ordered the Jungle one. And folks next time please don't order the Mermaid one. It's ultra sweet. So since we three girls can't finish we mixed our Mermaid with YJ's Jungle. Heh. And played a number game so that the person who loses have to drink the mixture in the small cup.

And everyone had a turn (some two) to drink except for YJ
Back row: Shu Hui, Yan Ping, me
Front row: Ying Jian, Wee Liat, Zhong Ting

And we went to the Labyrinth.

Mixers and cups. The vodka hadn't turned up yet

Then we exchanged presents.

ZT and WL's caps
YJ's bottle
My lion products =D including the toothbrush holder (now I have two of it), a coin bank and another that I haven't figured out the exact use for it
SH's necklace
And YP's book

And some of them went to play pool, I sat around with the rest and finally decided to go home earlier. =D

NUSWS Camp

The NUS Wind Symphony Camp started on Wednesday last week and ended on Saturday. This made my weeks fly past a bit too fast for me to catch up. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself there though some not-so-good things happened to me while I'm there.

1. I realised I lost my ezlink card when I reached the Centre for the Arts (CFA). Moreover that's the Giro linked NUS ezlink card. Ouch. My first time losing an ezlink.
2. I have been very much against blasting on the tuba and then I found out that I could no longer blast when I'm required to.
3. I was down with a slight fever after the games on day 2. Felt cold yet hot inside.
4. I had to go for Mus'Art practice. It was more of obligation actually. But I went ahead anyway. Took a cab back to Raffles Hall after the practice.
5. The fever got worse when I returned -_- and I slept when I reached hall and woke up to bathe and went back to sleep again.
6. I went extremely broke due to my transport fares. Needed a dollar for each bus ride and more for train rides. For the Amazing Race and the trip to Marina South for steamboat.
7. Break camp: I realised I left my handphone charger and umbrella in my room in Raffles Hall.
Conclusion: I should just go die.

No la.

But of course there are good things which happened to me.

1. My roommate as well as tuba senior Hui Shan majors in Pharmacy. Thank goodness. She was like a doctor to me. And a kind nurse as well.
2. Hui Shan brought me milk all the way from CFA to my room!!! So touched! And Daniel Kang doesn't get any! =D
3. Knew a lot of nice people in the band.
4. I have an extra handphone charger.
5. I don't know what else.

I should just call RH on the next working day to ask if I can get my handphone charger or anything back.

I was so troublesome. Hui Shan is damm suay to get me as her roommate la. But I'm damm lucky =D But really, I felt like I'm some kind of problematic burden during the camp. Of all things to happen I must fall sick. I wonder why.

But anyway, I gotta count my blessings first. =)

During Amazing Race...

My group (I was picked as group leader -_-)
Wei Ping's group - they got the worst route of going to Harbourfront from school and back to school and to Vivo and back to school
Joanna's group

And then we went to Marina South for steamboat as our finale dinner.

Got my results

I did terribly, but got lower of what I expected. Didn't get the A I hoped to get, however I am thankful that I need not retake any modules.

And compared to the average, I'm way below. But ya. Whatever.

Next semester got to be better.

Exams out soon

Tomorrow results are coming out.

Freaking out.

And I have band camp tomorrow.

And bidding Round 1A starts tomorrow.

Bless me.

Merry belated Christmas!

This is very late but I just remembered to upload this video.

This video is about Animaniacs! Remember the one of the most loved cartoons at my time. They sing Noel in a bit of a...twisted way.

Enjoy!

Gathering with the 7 of us

And to celebrate Shi Hui and Hui Ying's birthdays too. Ultra belated =D We got a good durian cake from emicakes. Yum. And steamboat!

A worrying Christmas

Wishing all of you

A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A MERRY NEW YEAR~!!!

This year's Christmas is kind of weird for me. I don't feel the usual festive Christmas cheer, I don't feel like giving out Christmas cards, I don't get overwhelmingly many Christmas cards like the past years, I don't feel like getting Christmas gifts, I don't feel like counting down, 0000hrs doesn't give an impact to me at all. I think I was pouring myself a cup of water when the clock striked 12. I only awe at people queueing outside Toys R Us for the free gift wrapping. Oh and I wanna go there to get a lion. After the New Year maybe.

I just don't want to celebrate I guess. No mood. Too many things to worry about!

But this year's X'mas eve wasn't that bad. Had a 'wish come true' in the afternoon. After waiting for almost a year and a half. Time flies so fast. Such things give me a lot of thoughts. But I don't wanna dwell on them now, I'm tired.

Where the hell is the X'mas cheer. And I realised I haven't gone to Orchard for a good shopping trip this holiday. I need to shop. I need to get clothes. Note that not that I want to, but I need to. Lack of clothes. Not a good sign. However I always face a shortage of what-to-wear I don't get a lot of choices. I shall be the same old Erina for the next semester. I wish I could be someone new.

I've got a new guy

I mean......a new LION.

LION.

Hahahahhahahaaaa. Lions are guys right. =D

Say hi to No. 34

Got it at the Isetan roadshow at Tampines Mall's concourse. Or atrium. Whatever you call it.

And today. (that was yesterday) I got another lion! But because it's not exactly a full-bodied plush, I didn't count it in the 'series'.

A toothbrush holder~!!!!

Sis got it for me. At the same atrium. I'm going to use it in hall. Uh, but I'm using it at home first. Till I move in.

Oh, and guess where's this lion at?

Haha it's in my dad's car, at where I usually sit. =D Ta-daaa. It's some clutch to the seatbelt. You can slot your handphone there too. Or MP3 player, the like.

I got a pig one for mum as a birthday present since she likes it.
